On Tuesday, May 27th, 2024 we will be running a giveaway for an Apple prize pack (one iPad (10th Gen) & one pair of Apple Air Pods (3rd Gen)). Entries for this giveaway start when the MLB “$1K Special – Apple Giveaway (150-Entry Max)” contest is posted in the lobby on Monday, May 26th, 2024 at 7:45pm EST until Tuesday, May 27th 2024 at 7:20pm EST when the contest starts. There will be one winner who will be randomly selected after the conclusion of the contest.

To enter you must have a verified OwnersBox account and there are two (2) ways to enter; 1) Submit a $1 lineup entry into the MLB “$1K Special – Apple Giveaway (150-Entry Max)” contest and you will get 1 entry into the giveaway. You can earn additional entries for every $1 lineup entry into the MLB “$1K Special – Apple Giveaway (150-Entry Max)” contest up to 150 entries. 2) Refer a friend: during the outlined timeframe of the contest availability, for every friend you refer who creates an OwnersBox account and is verified you will earn 10 entries into the sweepstake. This is a promotional drawing in which a prize is being given away at no charge to the participants. The winner will be selected at random — it’s the luck of the draw if you’re chosen. You can refer users who verify as a means to enter without making any form of purchase.

Eligibility

You must have an OwnersBox account. You must also be at least eighteen (18) years of age to participate in contests, sweepstakes or win prizes offered through OwnersBox. In jurisdictions, territories, and locations where the minimum age for permissible use of Contests is greater than eighteen (18) years old, you must meet the age requirement in your local jurisdiction or territory. Legal residents physically located in Canada (excluding Quebec) or any of the fifty (50) states and Washington, DC in the United States of America, excluding Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, and Washington (the “Excluded States”) are eligible to open an account and participate in contests, sweepstakes or win prizes offered by OwnersBox. By having an OwnersBox account you are representing and warranting that:

- You are of 18 years of age or older (or the minimum age for permissible use in your jurisdiction)

- At the time of game entry you are physically located in a jurisdiction in which participation in the Contest is not prohibited by applicable law or these Terms;

- You are not listed on any governmental list of prohibited or restricted parties;

- You will abide at all times with this Agreement and any other agreements between you and OwnersBox regarding your use of the Services;

- When depositing funds or entering Contests, you are not physically located in of any of the Excluded States;

- You are not subject to backup withholding tax from any governmental authority;

- When entering any Contest that awards prizes, you are not an Employee, Immediate Family Member, or operator of OwnersBox or any other daily fantasy site that charges entrance fees or offers cash prizes;

- You do not, by virtue of affiliation with another daily fantasy site, have access to the site’s pre-release non-public confidential data about Contest-related information.

Prize

We will select one winner randomly and validate they met the criteria outlined above. That winner will be given an Apple prize pack consisting of one Apple iPad (10th Gen) and one pair of Apple Air Pods (3rd Gen), a combined value of $450 USD.

Winner Selection

The winner will be chosen at random from the qualified entrants. We will draw the winner on Wednesday, May 28th, 2024.

Winner Notification

We will reach out to the winner via the email associated with their OwnersBox account. They will have 3 days to respond before we pick another winner.

Limitation of Liability

The winner agrees that (except where prohibited) the sponsor (outlined below) may use their OwnersBox Username and Instagram username for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such an event, Sponsor may award the prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, illegible writing, errors and omissions on the entry form, whether caused by the sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit a participant’s ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning the prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs), false information of any kind, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. Offers void where prohibited and subject to federal, state and local laws.

Winner Announcement

We will display the winner within the "Promotion Terms" page.  We will also send out a mass email to all participants in the promotional contest.
